MEET THE TEAM
John L. Cloninger, lll, DDS
Doctor
Dr. Cloninger is a LHS graduate 1984, received his Bachelor of
Arts degree in Biology 1989, and DDS degree 1993 from the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Cloninger practiced
in New Orleans, LA for one year. He then returned to his
hometown where he continues to practice dentistry today. Dr.
Cloninger has been married since 1997. He and his wife are both
active in volunteer work here in Lincolnton to support this
community in any way possible. Dr. Cloninger received Eagle
Scout 1981, and recepient of Paul Harris Fellow Rotary
lnternational. He is a member of the American Dental Association
and NC Dental Society. Past board memberships include Jonathan
Brookins Scholarship, Carolina Trust Bank, Catawba Country Club,
Verdict Ridge, and Parks and Recreation City of Lincolnton. Dr.
Cloninger has proudly served as Assistant Basketball Coach and
Head Coach for Lincolnton High School since 2002 to 2O21.
Erin Heavner, DDS
Dentist
education at North Carolina State University where she graduated
Magna Cum Laude in Human Biology. Dr. Heavner received her
Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from one of the top schools in
the country, the University of North Carolina Adam’s School of
Dentistry. She is a member of the American Association of
Women Dentist and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr.
Heavner is excited about coming back to her hometown and is
looking forward to providing care to those in her community.
